Online car park booking

Book parking space

Car park booking at Frankfurt Airport is only possible via the online shop at  parken.frankfurt-airport.com.

Immediately after a successful booking you will receive a confirmation
email and within a few minutes your Mobile Parking Pass by email with the QR
code for the entry and exit. Make sure to you check your emails and your spam
folder just in case the email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so,
select the message and click “Not Spam”, which will allow future messages to
get through.

The following applies for an online booking:

  • a parking duration between 1 day and 44 days
  • a booking no earlier than 9 months and no later than 24 hours before arrival at the airport

A booking for shorter or longer stays is not possible. If you extend your stay beyond the 44 days, simply pay the additional price on site at our pay station. Parking process with QR code

Take the entrance stated on your Mobile Parking Pass and drive into the parking area. Follow the parking guidance system until you reach a parking row with green light. Place your QR code at the entry device in front of the scanner, which is located to the right of the ticket dispenser, instead of taking a parking ticket. The barrier will open and you can park your vehicle. You can find instructions under Parking with QR code. It is important that you are holding the QR code (smartphone or printout) at a slight distance and slight angle in front of the scanner and to set the brightness of the smartphone to 100%. For easy handling we recommend to load the QR code into your wallet.

Please note the location of your parking space. Furthermore we will send you an email (Carfinder-mail, except Holiday Parking) with your parking location after entry with the QR code. With the Mobile Parking Pass in your Wallet, you have the advantage that your parking row is automatically displayed in the Wallet after you have entered. With eParking and Business Parking the parking row already appears in the Wallet in advance.

Note for Business Parking
We have reserved your parking row in Level 2 (Terminal 1) according to your Mobile Parking Pass. The QR code is only valid for the corresponding parking row. In case of problems at the entrance, you can press the call button (receiver symbol) on the device at the bottom right.

Note for eParking
The parking row 126 (Terminal 1) or U423 (Terminal 2) is reserved for you according to your Mobile Parking Pass. Please bring your own charging cable (standard plug type 2). Once you have parked, you can connect your vehicle to the charging station with your charging cable. The charging process is paid for and started on site at the charging station using an RFID card, QR code or text message. Instructions can be found in advance online or on site by scanning a QR code at the charging station. Up to 11kW is guaranteed at each charging station. In case of problems at the entrance, you can press the call button (receiver symbol) on the device at the bottom right.

Note for Holiday Parking Nord
You have free choice of parking spaces in the car park Gateway Gardens on levels 3 to 9. Please note that the QR code is only activated for the booked car park Gateway Gardens. Please keep special parking spaces, such as parking spaces for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility on level 1 or parking spaces with electric charging points on levels 1 and 2, free for authorized persons.

Note for Holiday Parking Süd
You have free choice of parking spaces in the car park Terminal 3 on levels 2 to 8. Please note that the QR code is only activated for the booked car park Terminal 3. Please keep special parking spaces, such as parking spaces for persons with disabilities or reduced mobility or parking spaces with electric charging points free for authorized persons.

You have all the necessary booking data and the QR code for entry and exit at your fingertips and you are always in full control of your parking process. Every status of your parking will be automatically updated in real-time in your
Wallet. As soon as you are in the vicinity of the airport, the Mobile Parking Pass appears GPS controlled on the lock screen of your smartphone. Furthermore the information of your car park location (parking row) will be displayed in the Wallet after entry. With eParking and Business Parking the parking row already appears in the Wallet in advance as a fixed parking row is assigned to you directly when you complete your booking.

In the unlikely event that you can’t find a free space in a parking row due to other badly parked vehicles, the architecture of the car park requires you to leave the car park and enter again. The QR code is activated for a new entry in a grace period of a few minutes.

If you can’t enter with the QR code, please take a parking ticket and contact our service team on the day of your return via the call button at the exit device of the central exit.   This is located on the device at the bottom right (receiver symbol). Please have your parking ticket and your booking code ready. Our colleagues will match the data and open the barrier for you, provided you have kept to the booked parking duration and parking area.

Please go to the pay station with your parking ticket and your QR code on the day of your return.

1.       First, insert the parking ticket into the pay station. The regular price will be displayed.

2.       Then place your QR code in front of the scanner. The displayed amount will be set to 0.00€ if you stayed within your pre-booked parking period and parking area. The pay station will collect the parking ticket. Afterwards you can exit with your QR code.

3.       If your actual parking duration exceeds the pre-booked duration, an additional charge will be displayed, which you can pay in cash or by debit/credit card.

If the activation of the QR code at the pay station doesn’t work, do not pay the parking ticket. Please drive with your car to the central exit and contact our service team via the call button at the exit device.   This is located on the device at the bottom right (receiver symbol). Please have your parking ticket and your booking code ready. Our colleagues will match the data and open the barrier for you, provided you have kept to the booked parking duration and parking area.

If you have entered before the booked entry time (earliest entry time) and have taken a parking ticket, the activation at the pay station will not work. Please contact us early by email (parken.online@fraport.de), stating your booking code and the ticket number of the parking ticket and entry time.

Please take a regular parking ticket at the entry device and contact us by email: parken.online@fraport.de. We will be happy to send you your Mobile Parking Pass. When you return, proceed as in the question "What do I do if I took a parking ticket at the entry instead of using my QR code?" to activate the QR code for the exit”.

Note Business Parking and eParking
If you do not have your QR code at hand, please get to the parking row that reserved for you and report your booking code via the call button at the entry device. This is located on the device at the bottom right (receiver symbol). Our service team will match the data and open the barrier. When you return, report again your booking code using the call button at the exit device.

Note for Holiday Parking Süd
If you do not have your QR code at hand, please press the call button at the entry device and report your booking code. The call button is located on the device at the bottom right (receiver symbol). Our service team will match the data and open the barrier. Please contact us by email afterwards: parken.online@fraport.de. We will be happy to send you your Mobile Parking Pass. When you return, proceed as in the question “What do I do if I took a parking ticket at the entry instead of using my QR code?” to activate the QR code for the exit.

After returning from your trip as scheduled, go to your car and drive to the central exit of the car park/underground car park. Place your QR code at the exit device in front of the scanner, the barrier opens and you drive out comfortably.

If you have an overstay, please go to one of the pay stations at the access areas/next to the central exit of our car parks/underground car parks.

1.       Place the QR code in front of the scanner at the pay station
2.       Pay the displayed amount
3.       After the payment your QR code is activated for the exit

Note for Holiday Parking Nord
If the parking time is extended/shortened, the RMV KombiTicket is no longer valid if you take the S-Bahn on another day. Please buy a corresponding ticket at the RMV ticket machine.

You have a total grace period of 6 hours. If you drive in e.g. 3 hours prior the pre-booked entry time, you have further 3 hours on your return until an additional payment is necessary. 1. First, insert the parking voucher into the pay station. The regular price will be displayed as the payment amount.
