Riedbahn line Mannheim - Frankfurt Airport:

Due to modernization work, the entire line will be closed from 15 July to 14 December 2024, meaning that no long-distance, regional or S-Bahn trains will be able to run there. Rail replacement services are available; the replacement connections have been incorporated into the timetable and can be called up on the DB website or the DB Navigator app.

High-speed line Cologne - Frankfurt Airport:

The high-speed line is also affected due to track renewal and will be modernized in two phases:

  1. Total closure from July 16 to July 29, 2024: During this period, no trains will run via the Frankfurt Airport long-distance station.
  2. From July 30 to August 12, 2024, trains will run again on the Middle Rhine line, without stopping at Limburg, Montabaur, Siegburg and Koblenz/Bonn.

Rail replacement services are also available for these closures; the replacement connections have been incorporated into the timetable and are available on the DB website or the DB Navigator app.
